History of Adriatica Watches
The history of Adriatica, as a trade mark, is closely associated with the latter period through a Swiss Watch Company established in 1852 in Montilier, close to Murten, at the foot of the Watch Valley. It has not yet been clearly established as from when it started dedicating watches of their brands but it is generally admitted that it was at some time earlier than 1931. During World War II the brand remained dormant. After the War, an associated company established in Biel/Bienne, again started the manufacturing of Adriatica watches.
In 1989 the Fluri family acquire the Adriatica brand and continue on from its glorious Swiss Made past.
Since 1999 Adriatica watches are being manufactured in their own watch factory in Dongio.
The Adriatica watch brand are destributed in almost every major Country in the world. The Adriatica Watch Company is a member of the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH.

Envelope: Stainless Steel.  Best quality surgical stainless steel, resistant to corrosion. Due to its special composition (316) does not cause virtually no allergies. This material, if it is not covered with any additional coating can be polished. Otherwise known as steel.
Glass:  Hardened mineral most common glass used to make slides in watches, produced on silicon. The degree of cure causes a high impact resistance.
 Strap / Bracelet: Stainless Steel. Strap/Bracelet made from high quality surgical stainless steel, corrosion resistant. Due to its special composition (316) does not cause virtually no allergies. Steel bracelet can always polished to look like new (only Watches are not covered by any additional coating).  You can adjust the strap/bracelet, you can adjust the strap/bracelet on any size wrist.   Shortening of bracelet does NOT affect the warranty watch.
