The Syma X8SW is a large camera quadcopter, comparable in size to the DJ Phantom range.
The look and build quality of the new Syma X8SW is outstanding.
The overall design is modern with fast & easy assembly - the entire quadcopter can be assembled in about a minute.
This is made possible by a clip in battery, clip in blade guards, clip in landing gear and quick release blades.
There are no screws or connectors to fiddle with.
Syma has designed a proprietary 2000mAh battery pack that simply clips in or out.
The entire airframe is made of a tough, lightweight polymer with superior crash survival properties.
The X8SW is powerful & can lift Mobius /RunCam /Foxeer Legend or even GoPro & similar cameras.
You can now take off/ land with the press of a button.
The aircraft also has improved automatic altitude hold.
This feature enables the pilot to release the throttle and the quadcopter will automatically maintain the set altitude.
This is useful for new pilots and when the pilot wants to concentrate on filming.
This aircraft has intelligent orientation mode (headless mode).
This enables the pilot to pan the camera (by rotating the aircraft) while flying in any direction.
Another benefit of this feature is that if you no longer know the orientation of the quadcopter, you can simply pull back on the direction control and the aircraft will return in the direction it took off from.
The drone has selectable power settings, high and low, - useful for different flying styles and wind conditions.
The re-designed controller comes with a universal smart phone holder that attaches to the top of the remote control.
The included WiFi camera sends images in realtime directly to your smart phone, as well as recording to an internal SD card.
After flying, simply remove the SD card, plug it into the included SD card reader and view the footage on your computer.
The camera comes with an anti-vibration mount to improve the picture quality.
