T.O. Honiball (1905 - 1990) Set of Five Lithographs Adoons-Hulle circa 1979
Thomas Ochse Honiball was a South African cartoonist and caricaturist. Alongside his political cartoons, he also published the "Oom Kaspaas" series, where he enjoyed portraying animals with human personalities and qualities. He created two series in this vein: "Jakkals en Wolf" and "Adoons-Hulle," the latter depicting the experiences of a baboon family in the Magaliesberg. He retired in 1974.
This set is from T.O. Honiball's "Theme and Variations" collection, comprising five lithographs, one of which is a printed folder containing the four remaining individual prints. The item is in great condition.
