The Takex MS12TE is a wired outdoor passive infrared detector with a dual zone sensor which has a detection distance of up to 12 metres and gives up to 180 degrees of effectively pet immune coverage. It has a day / night discrimination feature and a rainproof housing which makes it suitable for outdoor uses. This sensor is equipped with a dual zone system which initiates an alarm only when detection occurs in both horizontal and downward zones simultaneously. No alarm signal is output if only one zone is obstructed by small animals, vehicles etc. Perimeter, window or wall detection can be selected by adjusting detection zone with area masking sheet.
