Tales of a Trout-fishing Duffer is a compilation of articles by Dr Bradlow that first appeared in Piscator, Field and Tide, Anglers Annual, Trout and Salmon and the Flyfisher's Journal.
The articles on which the book is based, are mainly about the author's experiences of fishing excursions, usually written with tongue firmly in cheek. Many however are also extremely informative with fascinating snippets about the people and history of the fishing places visited. Dr Bradlow was an esteemed historian with several published works on the early Cape explorers.
Tales of a Trout-fishing Duffer is scarce. Limited edition copy no. 232/ 375 signed by both the author and illustrator.
