Blue cloth boards, top board with pictorial blind stamp and titles in gold, gilt titles to spine. Some rippling of the cloth to fore-edge of to board. 9.5x4cm corner clipped from first blank prelim. Skeleton endpapers. Edges a touch foxed, internally tight, bright and clean.

Rackhams iconic b/w and colour illustrations throughout, the latter with captioned tissue guards present, a touch of age toning and a few small spots of foxing here and there.

Pictorial jacket price clipped. Verso lightly foxed with spine mottled and a few chips to head and foot, a roughly circular chip roughly 2cm from foot and measuring 1cm across.
