Published by The Carey Kingsgate Press's, 1949

Hardcover with dustjacket in fairly good condition - the book is ex-library so shows all the markings thereof. There is a piece missing from the ffep. 96 pages.

This a detailed and fascinating account of the use of drums by African tribes for communication: the language used, designs of drums, placing of drums for optimum range etc. And an extremely scarce title.

Please note that, where applicable, all dustjackets will be covered with a clear removable film before shipping - they have been photographed without the protective film in order to more accurately represent them.
