Abarth is an Italian racing car maker founded by Austrian-Italian Carlo Abarth in Turin, Italy in 1949.Its logo depicts a stylized scorpion on a red and yellow background.
The Fiat Abarth 1000TCR Berlina Corse won European Touring Car Championship titles in 1968 and 1969. Based on the Fiat 500, this machine was equipped with a 948cc engine and had an impressive power of over 100hp, which made it possible to beat other race cars with larger displacements. This little monster now comes reproduced as a 1/10 scale R/C model. The classic body features such as the radiator integrated into the front bumper and large fenders have all been realistically reproduced. Furthermore, the rear-mounted exposed engine and side mirrors have also been recreated with separate plastic parts. The modern M-05 chassis features a low center of gravity and optimum chassis balance to offer you a superb handling machine and exciting R/C driving.
The front wheel drive M-05 chassis features a lightweight, narrow, durable, and an easy-assembly semi-monocoque resin frame. Gearbox, motor, battery pack, receiver, servo and ESC are positioned for optimum weight distribution and a low center of gravity. Ground-hugging 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and the 3-piece steering linkage provide stable high-speed cornering. In addition, 55mm diameter slick tires are mounted on wheels which feature the same design as those from an actual vehicle to enhance realism.
