ABOUT THE ARTIST
Tania Riccardi qualified as a fashion Designer. She worked, as a Head Designer, at EGOLI- Place of Gold TV serial and made wardrobes for various characters. Tania joined Marc & Michael Fashion Designers for a period of time. She then ran her own design studio and concentrated on private clientele. Tania also made clothes for various characters on Generations, TV serial.
From an early age, Tania enjoyed sketching figures and was attracted to the fashion and art industry. She managed an art gallery for 3 years and also worked as an art agent. She got to meet many interesting and different artists, on studio visits and learnt about different styles and techniques. In 2006, she traveled to India, and spent 3 years exploring her spiritual side.
She currently lives in Jhb, with her 7 year old daughter.
Tania has a big love for life and that passion is portrayed through her sketches.
