CD Player has been tested and plays excellently. All features worked and sound good. Can be used as a high quality stand alone CD player without a problem. You don't have to use the Minidisc feature.
I do not have a Minidisc so could not test that side but the case is in excellent condition, see photos.
Minidiscs were cutting edge at the time . People would transfer CD to Minidisc . One of the reasons was that some of the sophisticated mobile Walkmen players played Minidisc without any motion problems which mobile CD players obviously had.
Apparently you can still buy Minidiscs.
This player is very rare here in South Africa.
