The meter can be used for the test of TDS and Temperature.  The probe is made of Titanium alloy which decreases the disturbance by the magnetism to the accuracy.

Introduction:

TDS, Total Dissolved Solids, is used for the evaluation of water quality. The reading means the miligrams of TDS per liter, ie. mg/L.

The higher TDS reading, the more impurity content of the liquid/water. 

Importance:

• The device may not be used to test hot or flowing liquid/water.
• The device can be used to test the temperature.
• We recommend waggling it in the tested liquid for a while till the digital figure is unchanged, then read it, this procedure may take longer especially when testing the tempreture.
• An example of classification of water by TDS: Purified water (TDS less than 50), Tap water (TDS less than 300) (Image 2 above).
