The Technics SL-BD2 is a classic Japanese semi-automatic belt-drive turntable from the mid-1980s, featuring Technics' frequency-generator servo-controlled DC motor, P-mount cartridge system and convenient automatic return and stop functions. The SL-BD2 is a straightforward, easy-to-use vintage turntable designed for 33 and 45 rpm records.

The SL-BD2 is an example of Technics' move toward simple, user-friendly P-mount turntables, combining automatic record return with servo-controlled belt-drive operation. The model continues to appear in vintage turntable discussions and collections.

The turntable is in used vintage condition. The dust cover is in good condition for its age. Please study all photographs carefully as they show the actual turntable being offered for sale. As with any vintage audio equipment, marks and signs of age are present.
