Ted Hoefsloot (1930) Framed Prints

On offer this beautiful set of framed TED HOEFSLOOT prints. Both of donkey carts and passengers. They are mounted and framed in metal frames, behind glass. All in good condition, just a bit of minor foxing on the left side of one. Both measure 51x41cm (with frame) and 29x19cm (prints only).

Hoefsloot was born in Amsterdam, Holland in 1930. A short while after completing his art studies in Amsterdam, he decided to visit South Africa and travelling through the country on a motorcycle was so inpired by the country's natural beauty - the vast spaces, majestic ranges, the wildlife - that 53 years later he still find himself calling South Africa home. He paints with respect, affection and warmth and takes a realistic approach to whatever he creates. Hoefsloot has exhibited all around SA since 1964 and his work has appeared on local television shows. His works also adorn many corporate and private collections.
