Opening safety: when Secure 5 is in use and under pressure, the opening knob cannot be activated. Excess pressure safety valve 1: the valve releases pressure and the steam will escape horizontally from the top of the lid. Excess pressure safety valve 2: the seal lets steam escape vertically from the side of the lid.
