VINTAGE FINE PORCELAIN CHINESE SPOON REST WITH BLUE TEMPLE IMAGERY
Collectable Fine Porcelain item manufactured in China and Hand painted with dark sea blue imagery of a large Chinese Temple with surrounding trees. At the bowl tip of the spoon rest a figure has been portrayed standing inside the temple with a sword in his/her belt. Although I have encountered many different Chinese/Oriental Porcelain spoon rests, this is actually the first I have ever seen with a depiction such as this.
The Spoon rest stands upon three small rests
Although the item is Hand Painted with a mark on one side and a signature on the other, age has worn these to the point where the characters are not clearly legible. The item is CLEARLY vintage but could quite possibly be older
