The Tenda AC5 is a compact dual-band Wi-Fi router built for everyday home networking. Running 802.11ac on 5GHz alongside 802.11b/g/n on 2.4GHz, it delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 1167Mbps (867Mbps on 5GHz, 300Mbps on 2.4GHz), enough for HD streaming, video calls, and multiple connected devices without constant buffering.
Four external 6dBi antennas help push signal further into corners of the home, while the onboard 1GHz processor keeps multiple connections running smoothly. Setup and ongoing management are handled through the Tenda WiFi App, which also gives you Parental Controls, a separate Guest Network for visitors, and a Client Filter to manage which devices get access. WPA2 encryption and SSID hiding are built in for everyday security, and the router supports IPTV and IPv6 out of the box.
