A TEVISE watch is a mechanically powered watch that uses no battery. The watches rely on motion (kinetic energy) for it to keep time. The energy comes from wearing it. Start it up by winding the crown in a clockwise direction (maximum 4 - 6 revolutions) and the time is maintained by kinetics.
