Product OverviewThe DS92LV2421SQE/NOPB is a Channel-Link II Serializer Chipset translates aparallel 24-bit LVCMOS data interface into a single high-speed CML serialinterface with embedded clock information. This single serial stream eliminatesskew issues between clock and data, reduces connector size for transferring a24-bit or less, bus over FR-4 printed circuit board backplanes and balancedcables. In addition to the 24-bit data bus interface, it also features a 3-bitcontrol bus for slow speed signals. This allows implementing video and displayapplications with up to 24-bit per pixel (RGB). Programmable transmitde-emphasis, receive equalization, on-chip scrambling and DC balancing enableslonger distance transmission over lossy cables and backplanes. The chipset isprogrammable though an I²C interface as well as through pins.
