Product OverviewThe ISO7831FDWWR from Texas Instruments is a high immunity, 5.7KVrms, highperformance, 8000VPK reinforced triple 2/1 digital isolator in 16 pin WSOICpackage. This device has reinforced isolation certifications according to VDE,CSA, TUV and CQC. It provides high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions atlow power consumption while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/Os. Eachisolation channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by silicondioxide insulation barrier. It comes with enable pins which can be used to putrespective outputs in high impedance for multi-master driving applications andto reduce power consumption. If input power or signal is lost, the defaultoutput is low for ISO7831F device. Used in conjunction with isolated powersupplies, it helps prevent noise currents on a data bus or other circuits fromentering local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry.
