This DC to DC converter is optimized for powering low voltagecircuits from a single Li-Ion cell battery and input voltage rails from 2.7V to5.5V. The LM3671 offers superior features and performance for mobile phones andsimilar portable systems. Automatic intelligent switching between PWM low noiseand PFM low current mode offers improved system control. Hysteretic PFM modeextends battery life by reducing the quiescent current to 16µA (typical) duringlight load and standby operation. Internal synchronous rectification provideshigh efficiency during PWM mode operation.
