It is designed to operate from a singlepower supply. Operation from dual supplies is also possible if the differencebetween the two supplies is 2 to 18V. It features extremely high inputimpedance, allowing direct interfacing with high-impedance sources. The outputsare N-channel open-drain configurations and can be connected to achievepositive-logic wired-AND relationships. The TLC372 has internal electrostaticdischarge protection circuits and has been classified with a 1000V ESD ratingusing human body model testing. However, care should be exercised in handlingthis device as exposure to ESD may result in a degradation of the deviceparametric performance.
