The Texecom Impaq S Wired Shock Sensor is a Grade 2 perimeter detector designed to provide early warning of attempted forced entry through windows, doors and other solid surfaces. Available in white or brown, it uses VIBER accelerometer technology and digital signal processing to analyse shock travelling through the mounting surface. Five selectable sensitivity levels allow an installer to configure the detector for materials ranging from window frames and timber to concrete. This model detects shock and vibration only and does not include a magnetic opening contact.
The Impaq S works with Texecom and other compatible hardwired alarm control panels that accept normally closed or supported end-of-line zone wiring. Selectable resistor configurations are provided for commonly used Texecom, DSC, Honeywell and Scantronic or Menvier systems.
The detector requires wired power and zone connections. It is not a wireless device and does not connect directly to an app. Correct sensitivity, resistor selection and zone programming must be completed during installation.
Note: Alarm cable, magnetic contact, installation labour and optional accessories are not included
