Texecom Premier 832 Alarm Kit RKP16 Plus 2x LC-200 PIRs

The Texecom Premier 832 Complete Wired Alarm Kit with RKP16 Plus Keypad and Two LC-200 PIR Detectors provides the main equipment needed for a professionally installed residential or small-business alarm system. The Premier 832 starts with eight wired zones and can be expanded to 32 zones as the property's security requirements grow. This kit combines movement detection, door or window monitoring, fixed panic activation, an audible siren and battery backup in one package. It is intended for installation and programming by a suitably experienced alarm installer.

• Starts with eight wired zones. Connect the supplied PIR detectors, magnetic contacts and panic buttons while retaining capacity for additional compatible wired security devices.
• Expands as your security needs grow. The Premier 832 supports expansion to a maximum of 32 zones using compatible Texecom expansion modules.
• Separates the property into four areas. Different sections, such as the house, garage, office or storeroom, can be configured for independent arming and disarming.
• Manages multiple authorised users. Up to 64 user codes can be programmed so family members, staff or authorised service providers can receive their own access codes.
• Provides clear 16-zone status indication. The RKP16 Plus LED keypad shows the condition of up to 16 zones and includes dedicated system status indicators for everyday operation.
• Detects movement while accommodating smaller pets. Each LC-200 digital PIR provides coverage up to 15 metres with a 100° field of view and pet immunity for animals weighing up to 15 kg when correctly positioned and configured.
• Protects doors and provides manual emergency activation. Two magnetic contacts monitor selected opening points, while two fixed glow-in-the-dark panic buttons provide accessible emergency alarm activation.
• Includes standby battery power. The Alarm Supplies 12V 7Ah Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Backup Battery allows the alarm system to continue operating during mains power interruptions. Actual backup time depends on the installed equipment, battery condition and system load.

Compatibility & App Support

This is a hardwired alarm system and is compatible with supported Texecom Premier wired keypads, zone expanders and alarm accessories. The Premier 832 supports compatible local and remote expansion modules when more zones are required.

Wi-Fi, GSM, mobile-app control and armed-response monitoring services are not included in this kit. Any additional communication module or monitoring service must be selected and configured separately by the installer.

Did You Know?

• The RKP16 Plus keypad includes two local EOL zone inputs. An installer can use these for nearby detection devices, which may reduce the amount of cable that needs to run all the way back to the control panel.
• The Premier 832 stores up to 1,000 time-and-date-stamped system events. This gives the installer or authorised user a record of events such as arming, disarming, alarms, faults and user activity.
• The LC-200 includes internal 5.6 k end-of-line resistors intended for selected PowerSeries systems. When it is connected to the Premier 832, the installer should configure the detector using resistor values and wiring appropriate for the Texecom panel rather than assuming the internal resistor setting is suitable.
