Texecom Premier Elite 32XP-W 868MHz Ricochet Wireless Expander

The Texecom Premier Elite 32XP-W 868MHz Ricochet Wireless Expander adds wireless device capacity to compatible Texecom Premier and Premier Elite alarm panels. Designed for professional residential and commercial installations, it allows an existing wired or hybrid alarm system to accommodate Ricochet wireless detectors, contacts, sounders and SmartKeys. It supports up to 32 wireless devices, subject to the capacity and firmware of the connected control panel. Ricochet mesh communication helps maintain dependable signalling by allowing compatible devices to relay messages through the wireless network.

• Adds wireless capacity to your alarm system. Connect up to 32 compatible Ricochet devices, subject to the limits of your Texecom control panel.
• Maintains communication through mesh routing. Compatible Ricochet devices can receive and relay signals, allowing the network to find an alternative route when a direct path becomes weaker.
• Supports wired and wireless system designs. Add wireless protection to a compatible wired Premier or Premier Elite panel without replacing the complete alarm system.
• Provides detailed installer diagnostics. Onboard LEDs and Ricochet diagnostic tools help installers review device status, routing, signal strength, communication history and faults.
• Connects to installer programming tools. The communication port supports connection to compatible Texecom interfaces for use with Ricochet Monitor software.
• Allows temporary engineer-keypad access. A compatible Premier or Premier Elite LCD engineers keypad can be connected for supported programming and testing functions.
• Monitors enclosure tampering. Lid and rear tamper facilities help the alarm panel detect unauthorised access to or removal of the expander.
• Flexible panel-network connection. The four-wire power and data network can be installed in star, daisy-chain or combined layouts where supported.

Compatibility & Software Support

Compatible with supported Texecom Premier Elite control panels and selected legacy Premier panels. Compatibility, available wireless capacity and diagnostic functions depend on the panel model, panel firmware and expander firmware.

The GCA-0001 is the 868 MHz version. Confirm that it matches the frequency of your existing Texecom Ricochet devices before purchasing. Ricochet Monitor and Wintex are installer software tools; this expander does not provide consumer app control on its own.

Did You Know?

• Ricochet devices do not all need a direct radio path back to the 32XP-W. Compatible devices can relay signals through the mesh network, helping extend coverage into areas where direct communication with the expander may be weaker.
• A 32XP-W occupies four address positions on the control panel network. Depending on how many wireless devices are assigned, some unused virtual positions may remain available for compatible expanders.
• Multiple wireless expanders do not combine into one shared Ricochet mesh. Each expander manages its own wireless network, and devices assigned to one expander cannot relay signals through devices assigned to another.
