The Texecom Premier Elite 5Ci-W Wireless Internal Sounder adds a powerful audible and visual warning device to a compatible Texecom Premier Elite alarm system. Designed for indoor use in homes, flats, offices, shops and system upgrades, it communicates through Texecoms Ricochet wireless mesh network instead of requiring a wired alarm-zone connection. A 105 dB piezo sounder, bright LED strobe and selectable comfort LEDs provide clear local alarm indication.

Key Features

Provides a strong indoor alarm warning. The integrated piezo sounder produces a peak output of 105 dB at one metre to alert occupants when the alarm activates.
Adds a clear visual indication. A high-brightness LED strobe operates with the sounder, making an alarm activation easier to identify in noisy environments.
Installs without signal cabling. Ricochet mesh communication connects the sounder to a compatible Premier Elite wireless system, giving your installer more freedom when choosing its position.
Includes its operating batteries. Eight AA lithium batteries are supplied, allowing the sounder to operate independently of a wired power connection.
Offers selectable status lighting. The comfort LEDs can be enabled for visible system reassurance or disabled to extend typical battery life.
Monitors interference with the housing. Wall and lid tamper detection reports attempts to remove or open the sounder to the connected alarm panel.
Allows selectable alarm duration. The installer can configure the sounder cut-off period to suit the alarm system and installation requirements.
Suitable for Grade 2 systems. The unit is designed for compatible EN50131 Grade 2, Environmental Class II indoor alarm installations.

Compatibility & App Support

The Premier Elite 5Ci-W requires a compatible Texecom Premier Elite control panel with Ricochet wireless capability or a suitable Premier Elite wireless expander. It is compatible with Premier Elite control panels running version 2.11 or later, subject to the receiver and expander firmware requirements specified by Texecom. The sounder occupies a Ricochet-enabled zone and must be enrolled into the alarm system before final mounting. It does not connect directly to a mobile app and cannot operate as a standalone siren.

Whats Included

1 x Texecom Premier Elite 5Ci-W Wireless Internal Sounder (GBX-0001)
8 x 1.5V AA Lithium Batteries

Did You Know?

The 5Ci-W is strictly an indoor sounder. It is not designed for outdoor installation or exposure to rain, moisture and exterior environmental conditions.
Disabling the comfort LEDs can significantly extend battery life. Actual service life depends on alarm activations, wireless conditions, LED settings and the installation environment.
The sounder does not activate itself when its housing is tampered with. It sends a tamper signal to the control panel, where the event can be logged, reported or handled according to the system programming.
