Texecom Premier Elite LCDLP-W Wireless LCD Keypad

The Texecom Premier Elite LCDLP-W Wireless LCD Keypad is a fully functional remote keypad for compatible Texecom Premier Elite alarm systems. It gives homeowners, businesses and installers access to system operation and programming without running a keypad cable back to the control panel. Ricochet mesh communication provides a flexible installation option for entrances, bedrooms, garages and other locations where wired keypad installation would be difficult. The keypad includes a built-in proximity reader but a Texecom proximity tag is not supplied with this standalone unit.

• Extended battery service. Four supplied lithium AA batteries provide an expected battery life of approximately 3 to 5 years, depending on use and system conditions.
• Optional tag operation. The built-in proximity reader allows compatible Texecom RFID tags to be used instead of entering a user code manually.
• Suitable for additional control points. The keypad can be positioned near another entrance, in a bedroom, garage or remote building, subject to suitable Ricochet signal coverage.

Compatibility & App Support

The keypad requires a compatible Texecom Premier Elite system with a Ricochet wireless receiver running version 3.1 or later. It is not a standalone alarm system and should not be purchased as a direct wireless keypad for older Premier 412, Premier 816 or Premier 832 panels without first confirming the panel and receiver configuration with your installer.

Did You Know?

• The letter P in LCDLP-W identifies the built-in proximity-reader version. Although some suppliers shorten the product name to LCDL-W, the official GCE-0001 model still contains a proximity reader. It simply does not include a proximity tag in the standalone box.
• A wireless keypad uses one wireless zone on the Premier Elite control panel for communication, monitoring and supervision. This should be considered when calculating the remaining wireless-zone capacity of the alarm system.
• Texecom recommends positioning the keypad so that it communicates directly with the Ricochet receiver where possible. Routing communications through other mesh devices can increase response time and Texecom recommends no more than four wireless keypads on one receiver for best performance.
