Texecom Premier Elite Micro Contact-W Wireless Contact - Brown

The Texecom Premier Elite Micro Contact-W in Brown is a miniature wireless magnetic contact for monitoring doors, windows, cupboards, drawers and other openings on compatible Texecom alarm systems. Its brown housing is suited to wooden frames and darker finishes where a white alarm contact would be visually noticeable. Ricochet mesh communication and LED-assisted commissioning help your installer achieve a reliable wireless installation without running signal cable. This is the magnetic contact version only and does not provide shock or vibration detection.

Key Features

• Complements wooden frames. The brown finish blends more naturally with many timber doors, window frames and darker interior fittings.
• Compact and discreet. At only 57 mm x 27.5 mm x 8.2 mm, the contact can be positioned in confined areas where a conventional wireless contact may be too noticeable.
• Monitors opening and closing. The matching magnetic contact allows the alarm panel to detect when the protected door, window or cupboard is opened.
• Reliable Ricochet wireless communication. Compatible Ricochet devices can receive and repeat messages through the mesh network, helping improve system coverage.
• Installer-friendly LED indications. Visual feedback assists with device learning, magnet positioning, wireless range testing and tamper identification.
• Longer service intervals. A single CR2450 coin-cell battery provides a typical operating life of up to four years, depending on installation conditions and activity.
• Choice of fixing method. Supplied adhesive pads allow convenient mounting, while the supplied screws support a compliant graded installation.
• Grade 2 security design. Designed to meet EN50131-2-6 Grade 2 Class II requirements when correctly installed.

Compatibility & App Support

Designed for compatible Texecom Premier Elite alarm panels and suitable Ricochet wireless receiver or expansion hardware operating on the supported 868 MHz frequency band. It does not operate as a standalone Wi-Fi or mobile-app sensor. Remote alerts and app access, where required, are provided through the compatible alarm panel and communication equipment.

What's Included

• 1 x Texecom Premier Elite Micro Contact-W main sensor (brown)
• 1 x Matching magnetic contact
• 1 x CR2450 lithium coin-cell battery
• 1 set x Double-sided adhesive mounting pads
• 1 set x Mounting screws

Note: The Texecom Micro Deep Base is not included. A compatible brown deep base must be purchased separately when installing the contact on a metal surface.

Did You Know?

• Using the adhesive pads does not provide a graded installation. The supplied screws must be used where EN50131 Grade 2 compliance is required.
• Aluminium and other metal surfaces can reduce wireless performance. Texecom requires the appropriate Micro Deep Base to be fitted on metal to maintain consistent signal strength.
• Although the magnet can be fitted on either side, Texecom indicates that the left-hand position provides greater sensitivity when the alignment marks are correctly matched.
