Texecom Premier Elite Micro Contact-W Wireless Contact - Grey

The Texecom Premier Elite Micro Contact-W in Grey is a miniature wireless magnetic contact for monitoring doors, windows, cupboards, drawers and other openings on compatible Texecom alarm systems. Its anthracite-grey housing is suited to aluminium frames and modern darker finishes where discreet colour matching matters. Ricochet mesh communication and LED-assisted commissioning help your installer achieve a reliable wireless installation without running signal cable. This is the magnetic contact version only and does not provide shock or vibration detection.

Key Features

• Matches modern darker frames. The grey finish suits many anthracite, aluminium and contemporary window or door installations.
• Small enough for discreet positioning. Its 57 mm x 27.5 mm x 8.2 mm housing can fit into locations where larger wireless contacts would be conspicuous.
• Monitors protected openings. The sensor and matching magnet communicate the secure or open state of a door, window or other movable fitting to the alarm system.
• Ricochet mesh wireless technology. Compatible devices can repeat messages through the network, helping communication reach areas that may be difficult for ordinary point-to-point wireless devices.
• LED-guided setup. Clear indicator colours assist the installer with learning, magnet alignment, signal testing and tamper identification.
• Typical four-year battery life. Low-energy operation reduces routine battery changes and uses a readily identifiable CR2450 coin cell.
• Adhesive or screw fixing. Both mounting methods are supported, with the required pads and screws supplied.
• Grade 2 security classification. Designed to meet EN50131-2-6 Grade 2 Class II requirements when installed according to Texecoms instructions.

Compatibility & App Support

Designed for compatible Texecom Premier Elite alarm panels and suitable Ricochet wireless receiver or expansion hardware operating on the supported 868 MHz frequency band. The Micro Contact-W is not a standalone app sensor. Any mobile notifications or remote system control depend on the compatible alarm panel and communicator forming part of the installation.

What's Included

• 1 x Texecom Premier Elite Micro Contact-W main sensor (grey)
• 1 x Matching magnetic contact
• 1 x CR2450 lithium coin-cell battery
• 1 set x Double-sided adhesive mounting pads
• 1 set x Mounting screws

Note: The Texecom Micro Deep Base is not included. A compatible anthracite-grey deep base must be purchased separately when installing the contact on a metal surface.

Did You Know?

• Adhesive mounting is suitable for non-graded applications, but screw mounting is required when Grade 2 installation compliance is needed.
• The grey housing does not remove the need for a deep base on aluminium or other metal frames. Texecom states that metal installations must use the matching deep base to maintain consistent wireless performance.
• Correct magnet alignment affects the operating gap and reliability of the contact. The magnet can be fitted on either side, although the manufacturer identifies the left-hand side as the more sensitive position.
