Texecom Premier Elite Micro Contact-W Wireless Contact - White

The Texecom Premier Elite Micro Contact-W in White is a miniature wireless magnetic contact for monitoring doors, windows, cupboards, drawers and other openings on compatible Texecom alarm systems. Its slim white housing blends neatly with light-coloured uPVC and painted frames, making it suitable for homes and businesses where discreet perimeter protection is important. Ricochet mesh communication and LED-assisted commissioning help your installer achieve a reliable wireless installation without running signal cable. This is the magnetic contact version only and does not provide shock or vibration detection.

• Blends into light-coloured frames. The compact 57 mm x 27.5 mm x 8.2 mm housing can fit into many uPVC window and door-frame installations without becoming visually intrusive.
• Detects doors and windows being opened. The separate magnet allows the alarm system to monitor whether the protected opening is secure or open.
• Reliable Ricochet wireless communication. Mesh technology allows compatible devices to receive and repeat wireless messages, helping extend coverage through the alarm installation.

Compatibility & App Support

Designed for compatible Texecom Premier Elite alarm panels and suitable Ricochet wireless receiver or expansion hardware operating on the supported 868 MHz frequency band. This is a system sensor rather than a standalone app-connected product; any remote notifications or app functions depend on the alarm panel and communicator used in the completed system.

Note: The Texecom Micro Deep Base is not included. A compatible white deep base must be purchased separately when installing the contact on a metal surface.

Did You Know?

• Adhesive-pad mounting is intended for a non-graded installation. Screw mounting is required where the installation must comply with EN50131 Grade 2 requirements.
• Metal can reduce the wireless signal. Texecom specifies that the compatible Micro Deep Base must be used when installing the contact on a metal surface.
• The magnet can be installed on either side of the sensor. The manufacturer notes that positioning it on the left-hand side with the moulded alignment marks correctly matched can provide greater sensitivity.
