Texecom Premier Elite Micro Shock-W Wireless Shock Sensor - White

The Texecom Premier Elite Micro Shock-W Wireless Shock Sensor is a compact perimeter detector designed to identify forcible impacts against windows, doors and walls before an intruder gains entry. It is suitable for residential and commercial properties using a compatible Texecom Premier or Premier Elite wireless alarm system. Its slim white housing, adjustable sensitivity and Ricochet mesh communication make it well suited to discreet installations on light-coloured frames and surfaces.

Key Features

• Detects attempted forced entry early. The accelerometer analyses vibrations caused by impacts against the protected surface, allowing the alarm system to respond before the opening is breached.
• Adjustable for different surfaces. Five sensitivity levels allow the installer to configure detection for framed windows, wooden structures, concrete and other suitable mounting surfaces.
• Reliable mesh communication. Texecom Ricochet technology allows compatible wireless devices to receive and repeat signals through the alarm network, improving coverage beyond ordinary point-to-point communication.
• Compact, discreet installation. The ultra-slim 57 mm × 27.5 mm × 8.2 mm enclosure fits neatly onto window frames, doors and other protected surfaces.
• LED-assisted commissioning. Colour-coded LED indications help the installer confirm device learning, wireless communication and sensitivity during setup and testing.
• Reduced battery maintenance. Efficient operation provides a typical battery life of up to three years from the supplied CR2450 coin-cell battery, depending on activity and installation conditions.
• Flexible mounting method. Use the supplied adhesive pad for a non-graded installation or the adhesive pad and screws where Grade 2 compliance is required.
• Grade 2 security design. Designed to comply with EN50131-2-8 Grade 2 Class II requirements when correctly installed.

Compatibility & App Support

The Micro Shock-W is compatible with Texecom Premier Elite panels and compatible Premier systems equipped with Ricochet wireless capability or a suitable wireless expander. It is an alarm-system detector and does not connect directly to Wi-Fi or a mobile app. Remote notifications and app functions depend on the control panel and communication equipment used in the completed system.

Note: The Micro Deep Base accessory is not included. Texecom requires a compatible deep base when installing the sensor on a metal surface to maintain consistent wireless performance.

Did You Know?

• The Micro Shock-W detects vibration and impact only. It does not contain a magnetic opening contact, so it will not independently report that a door or window has been opened.
• Once installation and commissioning are complete, the detector does not continuously display visible status LEDs. The LED indications are primarily used during learning, range testing and sensitivity setup.
• Metal surfaces can reduce the wireless range even when the sensor is physically mounted correctly. The matching Micro Deep Base creates additional separation between the sensor antenna and the metal surface.
