Inspiration behind the art:

I recently went to Thailand and found the Thai culture and their expressive creativity such an inspiration. I wanted to put across - in this piece - the pattern and vibrant colours of the Thai people. I have then mixed it with the symbol of freedom and metamorphosis that the butterfly represents - learning to fly and spreading your creative wings. The delicate design of the Thai influenced pattern merged with the intricate and fragile beauty of the nature-represented butterfly to create 'Thai Butterfly'.
