Thai food offers a variety of flavours and tastes. The subtle mixing of herbs and spices and interesting ingredients makes dining a special culinary experience.

Thai Ingredients

Thai cooking is different from modern western cooking. Where western cooking (particularly baking) ingredients are measured exactly, Thai cooking is far more flexible. While this flexibility makes the recipes far more lenient, getting used to it can be quite challenging. Coming on of our Thai cooking evenings will be a starting point on how you begin to learn how to cook with your tongue.

Trends show that more and more South Africans consider themselves “foodies” and “cooking enthusiasts” and embrace cooking as a leisure pursuit. Our culinary school focuses on the entertainment side of cooking, whilst teaching everybody a tip or two. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need from the smallest measuring spoon to the biggest pot, as well as every ‘mod-con’ that will make your cooking experience so much easier!
