Thank God we Kept the Flag Flying by Kenneth Griffith,

The Siege & Relief of Ladysmith 1899-1900

Hutchinson of London, 1974, First Edition

382 pages, softcover with paper covers.

Cover has some wear and tear, torn corners - please see the pictures below.

First page has staining and yellowing due to age

Tight binding, good overall condition. Clean pages inside.

Kenneth Griffith has revealed, through the words of men that were there, a very personal yet totally authentic vision of the Boer War. Kenneth Griffith's twenty-year fascination with imperial history has already produced controversial documentaries on Cecil Rhodes and the Boer War. The title comes from the words of Sir George White on his relief.  Some of those included are still alive, and have spoken directly to the author.
