Audio Control Preamplifier, Low-Noise, ± 5V to ± 20V, DIP, 8 Pins, -40 °CProduct OverviewThe THAT1510P08-U is a low-noise high performance Audio Pre-amplifier IC formicrophone preamp and bus summing applications. The IC is pin compatible withthe analogue devices SSM2019 and SSM2017 and the INA217 and INA163. Gain forboth parts is adjustable via one external resistor, making it possible tocontrol gain over a wide range with a single-gang potentiometer. The IC gainequation is identical to that of the SSM 2019, reaching 6dB gain with a 10kRresistor. The 1512 reaches 0dB gain with a 10kR resistor. Because the 1512exhibit-bit significantly lower noise at lower gain settings, it is recommendedover the 1510 for new designs.
