The 28-piece Microscope kit is an educational experience for children who love to learn as they play. The 28-piece microscope Kit is designed to bring hours of enjoyment, wonder, and just plain fun. This laboratory set comes with a microscope and a full collection of Microscope accessories, which help your child discover the hidden microscopic world around him or her. The microscope features a functioning 1200x model microscope with three turret mounted objective lenses (for magnifications of 100x, 600x and 1200x), a tough plastic body to reduce weight and survive rough use, a single focus knob, and a specimen stage with two built-in stage clips. This microscope uses a mirror and ambient lighting with an assist from a small built-in light source which uses 2 AA batteries (not supplied). In addition to the microscope, you also get prepared and blank plastic slides, hard carry case and more.
Rotate the color filter underneath the stage in order to see how the different colors can enhance the image of your specimen. Your laboratory Microscope set comes supplied with sea salt, brine shrimp eggs which will stay alive for up to five years, and a shrimp hatchery. Have your child hatch and grow the shrimp eggs into mature shrimp which he or she can use to feed the fish in your aquarium. Use the slides to create your own experiments. The included easy-to-understand instruction manual for this Microscopes guides you through all the steps you will need in order to open up the unseen world.
