Condition: Fair. Some rubbing and stains to boards, and small bumps to corners of boards. 'A 1' in black letters to front board. Shelfwear and some chips to the top and tail of spine. 'Weights and Measures' slip tipped in on front free endpaper. Splits to gutters between front and rear free endpapers and pastedowns. Some foxing throughout. Some pages have underlining and notes in pen, as well as some stains. Small section of text missing from p. 129/130. At the rear is a 'For Recipes' section, which has been filled in by previous owner in pen and with several cuttings pasted in. Still a well bound copy.
