1958 Edition in hardcover without jacket. Apart from an adress in front no other markings or stamps. Boards still solid but reveal wear on the edges. Book in nice condition for its age.Sir Donald Bradman's international cricket career ended during 1948 after 20 years. In this book he writes about equipment, tossing for innings,art of batting, ways of getting out, bowling, dealing with off-spinners to name only a few.
He concludes in his foreword by saying "If this book can be the means of kindling enthusiasm in the breasts of some youngsters or of assisting older players to overcome the game's complexities, I shall be rewarde for the time spent in compiling it".
The book is enlightened by numerous b&w photographs.
