Cabinetmaking (The Art of Woodworking) :I find this book to be helpful with reminders of basics and also tips & techniques, especially if you're like me who does cabinet work off & on and so can forget helpful/important details. Not overly complicated & has nice illustrations.
Wood Finishing (Art of Woodworking) : Gives lots of options for finishing and covers the finer points. Any one of the chapters is worth the price of the book, and there are lots of chapters. This is very helpful information for woodworkers.
Tables and Desks (Art of Woodworking) :This is an excellent book from the Time Life Art of Woodworking Series. Great for a beginner and I'm told that even experts can gain something from this book. I'm not an expert so I can't say that for 100% certainty.
Routing and Shaping (Art of Woodworking):This book is an excellent reference work and shop manual for the shaper and router. It is well illustrated and gives descriptions of commercially available jigs and attachments as well as practical designs for shop made accessories. I read this book at the home of a fellow woodworker and threatened to steal it from him. I can't wait to get my own copy.
Kitchen Cabinets (Art of Woodworking):You will find this book very handy on showing you how to make your own kitchen cabinets,its full of very use full tips.There are 25 books to this set,ive found them to be very use full if your starting out at trying your hand at making verious woodwork
Classic American Furniture (Art of Woodworking):I have ordered many of the books in this series. All of them have been informative and well written. It's a good way to learn how to work wood if you're interested in it. This book has several good projects, but secretary on the front over is my favorite.
