Brown leather covers with gold illustration to front & rear covers, 5 bands to spine with gold decoration & gold writing to red leather on spine, cover boards have plastic covering for protection, Gold tipped pages with marbled front & rear covers, bookplate for Edward Baird on back of front cover, binding is tight & strong, agecolour to front & rear first pages, Genealogical tree at back of book folds out, some tears to creases of tree, all colour plates are intact,
