Hardcover, no jacket, first reprint 1946 by Country Life. The boards are square, but are worn, marked and bumped and sunned in places. The name of a previous owner is written neatly in pen on the front illustrated (map of the North Sea) paste-down. The rear past-down is a map of the English Channel. The pages are lightly aged, with a few spots here and there, but are otherwise clean and undamaged. Illustrated with photographs, reproduction paintings, maps and sketches.
