THIS BOOK IS A NICE GENERAL SURVEY, BIOGRAPHY AND LISTENER'S GUIDE OF THE BEATLES. Some interesting facts: The total of all the music released by The Beatles in their 8 year studio career only plays for 10.5 hours. In the Abbey Road studios, however, there are over 400 hours of recordings, which are of rough drafts, studio chat and backchat etc. Much of that material was used in this book - giving the reader good insight into the creative process of The Beatles.
