THE BEATLES: Yesterday and Today w/banned Butchers' Shop Cover

Any Beatle fan should knbow the story behind this one.... they released this album in '65 and the cover was deemed "inappropriate". So they recovered the front cover with the "Trunk" picture that was found in the shops.

Some folks realized this and peeled off the front cover to expose this one, the banned one. There are many bootlegs and fakes of this floating around nowadays but this is one of the originals, purchased from a reputable Beatle collector by myself in 2005.

 The peeling is good with only a few scrape marks here and there. I've included a supersized image (the max BOB will allow) as well as a pic of the back cover. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like.

Sleeves of this nature are impossible to grade, as clearly the peeling has caused some damage. There is also a split along the bottom edge of the spine, as well as a tear on both oipening edges.

The record itself I would grade VG as it has a few minor surface marks. Its catalog number is T-2553. This is definitely a MONO pressing
