Trovato's abiding abhorrence of deadlines makes it all the more remarkable that he has managed to produce five books. His trilogy of letters illuminated the darkest recesses of the national psyche, while his self-help guide went a long way towards boosting suicide and divorce rates. Trovato hopes that his latest book will speed up efforts to turn golf into a blood sport.
