First edition, Second impression: 463 pages, colour frontispiece, 56 colour plates, diagrams, blue cloth, spine gilt and with the measurement ruler in gilt on the back cover, no dust jacket, spotting on the top and fore-edges. Blue cloth boards are worn and rubbed, with front hinge splitting at head and tail of spine. Corners bumped and worn through. Would require sympathetic repair or re-cover. Contents are clean and tightly bound with tissue guarded frontispiece .
Foxing to ffeps and previous owners signature neatly written in pen. Colour plates are still bright and clear.
