Spro-Cas/ Ravan, 1973, Medium-format Paperback - Africana - 76pp. Photograph by David Goldblatt on front cover.

Subtitled "Notes on African Writing," with one section on fiction and one on poetry. This is the second printing of this work, which has two passages by Mandlenkosi Langa redacted "in view of a banning order served on the poet 9 October 1973". With censored passages on pp. 54 & 60.

An inserted pamphlet by Spro-Cas/Ravan is added in this copy, as it was not Mandlenkosi Langa who had been banned but his brother Benjamin.
