Head and foot of boards a bit dirty, faded, and damp-stained; lightly shelf-rubbed but not scuffed. A couple of finger smudges. Foxing and small stains on head and foot of text block. Light foxing of endpapers. Damp-stain to upper edge of text block to maximum of 2cm into the margins; slight buckling of pages limited to that area only. No signs of mold or moldy smell though. A few isolated, faint specs or smudges, text block otherwise clean and crisp and free of foxing. Very faint age-toning around the margins. Spine intact; gold lettering clear and bright, almost intact; binding tight with no loose or missing pages. A small closed tear and crease into margin of one of the pages. No inscriptions, no underlining, no highlighting, no marginalia.

DJ. Head and foot edge-worn with light scuffing and small chips, creasing and small tears, especially around the spine and hinges. No large tears though. Damp-stain and a watermark running down along spine. Some superficial scratched indentations on back cover. Upper and lower edges damp-stained on inside. Inside foxed. Price clipped with sticker ghost on front flap.
