Description

Art Hindle, Samantha Eggar and Oliver Reed star in this cult body horror written and directed by David Cronenberg. Frank Carveth (Hindle)'s wife Nola (Eggar) is being treated at an institute run by the psychologist Dr. Hal Raglan (Reed), who uses unconventional techniques to break down defensive barriers in the minds of his patients.

When their five-year-old daughter returns from a visit to Nola covered in bruises and scratches, Frank begins to question Dr. Raglan's methods and as people close to them begin to die, he discovers the horrific truth about who is responsible.
