The final part of the well-known series The Butterflies of Southern Africa has now been published and deals with the subfamily Nympalinae of the Nymphalidae.
The text comprising of 284 pages includes descriptions of the species, their habits and habitats, food plants and distribution in Southern Africa. Concluding the part are an extensive bibliography to all former parts and the index to the present one.

I. Hard Cover. Condition: good to Very Good. Royal Blue buckram covered boards, with almost no shelf wear. Some marks on boards, corners bumped a well as the edge of front board. Otherwise, clear and bright.
II. Dust Jacket is somewaht rubbed and edge worn, some feint marks, and with some creasing and closed tears along the top edge, but it remains bright and intact and in Very Good Condition.
III. Errata page glued on frontispiece. Signature of a previous owner on front free end paper.
IV. Contents are clean and bright. Pages in perfect condition. Richly illustrated with full page colour plates and beautiful anatomical line drawings, with accompanying text.
