The history behind some of the knots is fascinating, and Budworth's anecdotal experience lets the reader know that each knot is tried and true. A must-have for anybody interested in boating, outdoors, or even craft hobbies. Even if you're NOT interested in these activities, this is a superb reference for any person, since the ability to tie anything more than shoelaces is a skill too often unpractised by those who don't require it daily.
