Condition: Good. The boards are very lightly shelf-rubbed, still reasonably clean with a few insignificant marks. Minor fading around the edges. Light edgewear: shelf-rubbed, but not scuffed or frayed. A green mark on lower edge of rear panel. Gilt lettering on spine bright and crisp, intact. Corners sharp, not bumped. Front endpapers clean and bright, one or two insignificant specks. Rear endpapers clean and bright with minor erosion at top edge of rear free endpaper. Light foxing to top- and fore-edges of text block. Mild foxing on half-title. Small gray smudge p. 39; Light foxing pp. 256-260. These defects aside the text block is clean and crisp: no other stains, no inscriptions, no highlighting or underlining, no annotations or marginalia. Binding is secure; text is complete: no loose, missing or torn pages.

Jacket condition: Very Good. Price sticker ghost on front panel; very light rubbing to edges at the spine and the hinges, mild foxing on inside--otherwise jacket clean, bright, and intact.
